Sarah Tavel is an Associate in the Larchmont office of Bessemer Venture Partners. She works with Jeremy Levine and focuses primarily on software and Internet investments. She has been closely involved in the firm's investments in Yodle, Cornerstone OnDemand, and Consumer Powerline.
With an investment practice dating back to 1911, Bessemer is among the oldest venture capital firms in the United States and has made several hundred investments in rapidly growing private companies, many of which have gone on to become household names such as Blue Nile, Cascade, Ciena, Gartner Group, HotJobs, Keynote, Maxim Integrated Products, Parametric Technology, Skype, Staples, Verisign and Veritas.
Prior to joining Bessemer, Sarah started and ran a general contracting business and was a strategy consultant with The Kerdan Group. She graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Philosophy.
